[edit]As of 24 June 2024, five Monuments have been registered (as opposed to designated) as Places of Scenic Beauty at a national level.[9][10]

"Old" Prefectural Places of Scenic Beauty
[edit]In the 1930s, four Places were designated at a prefectural level under the 1919 Historical Sites, Places of Scenic Beauty, and Natural Monuments Preservation Law, and are now classed as "old" Prefectural Monuments (大阪府古文化紀念物).[11]
