Manisha Singh (born 1982) is an Indian politician from Madhya Pradesh. She is an MLA from the Bharatiya Janata Party representing Jaisingnagar Assembly Constituency (which is reserved for the ST community) in Shahdol District. She won election at the 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election.[1][2][3]

Early life and education

Singh hails from an agricultural family in Jaitpur. She did her post-graduation in Political Science from Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, in 2007.[4] Her husband Rajendra Singh is a businessman.

Career

Singh won the 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election from Jaisingnagar Assembly Constituency representing Bharatiya Janata Party. She defeated Narendra Singh Maravi of Indian National Congress by a margin of 37,951 votes.[citation needed]
