Mara Lejins (born 11 April 1995) [1] is an Australian television personality who is best known for being a “chaser” on the Australian television game show The Chase Australia, where she has the nickname “The Smiling Assassin”.[2]

Lejins first joined The Chase Australia in 2022, first appearing on August 8 2022, alongside Brydon Coverdale, Anne Hegerty, Matt Parkinson, Issa Schultz, Mark Labbett, and Cheryl Toh.[3]

Known as “The Smiling Assassin” on The Chase Australia, Lejins said “I only smile when I’m trying to take down contestants, that’s why I’m always smiling,” she said with a grin.[4]
