Meetha Raghunath is an Indian actress who primarily appears in Tamil films. She made her acting debut in Tamil film Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee (2022). She was critically acclaimed as "Anu" for her role in the Tamil film Good Night (2023).[1][2]
Personal life
[edit]Meetha Raghunath is of Baduga.[3] In 2024, she married Monish Shanmugam in her hometown in an intimate Baduga-style wedding ceremony.She studied in Coimbatore and completed her bachelor's degree in Mechatronics at SKCET, Coimbatore. She has an elder sister, Purva Raghunath, and her brother-in-law is the music director Darbuka Siva.[4][5]
Career
[edit]Meetha made her acting debut in the 2022 film Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee, directed by Darbuka Siva, where she played the role of a schoolgirl named Rekha. Later in 2022, she made her television debut in the drama dance series Five Six Seven Eight, directed by A. L. Vijay, playing the role of Sweatha. In 2023, she played the lead female role in the film Good Night opposite actor K. Manikandan. The film received positive remarks from critics and was a commercial success.[6] In 2024, it was announced that Meetha would play the lead role in an untitled film currently referred to as Siddharth 40, directed by Sri Ganesh, opposite Siddharth.[7]
