Minnu (Sinhala: මින්නු) is a 2024 Sri Lankan Sinhalese language drama film directed by Asoka Athaudahetti and co-produced by Renuka Balasuriya and Sunil T. Fernando.[4][5] It stars Harsha Tennakoon and Menaka Peiris in the lead roles along with Kaushalya Fernando, Sujani Menaka, Jayani Senanayake and Iranganie Serasinghe in supportive roles.[1]
The film was screened on 24 February 2024 in Ridma circuit cinemas.[6]

Production
[edit]This is the maiden film directed by Asoka Athaudahetti where his second direction Kandak Sema was screened in 2023 before this film.[7] Story and screenplay made by Sumitra Rahubaddha and co-produced by Renuka Balasuriya and Sunil T. Fernando.[8] Vishwa Balasuriya handled cinematography and lighting with the assistance of Majith S. Uyangoda, Mahesh Gunaratne and Poorna Prematilake.[1] Ajith Ramanayake made editing and still photography co-handled by Meesha Gunawardena and Migara Vijayanga. Assistant directors are Vernon Abeysinghe and W. Ravindra. Product Management include Sudath Balasuriya along with executive production by Renuka Balasuriya.[4]
Kumar Karavdeniya is the art director and Aruna Priyantha Kaluarachchi is the sound administrator. Feature composition done by Narada Thotagamuwa, whereas color combination by Ananda Bandara. Chief lighting artist is Ariyaratne Perera, Voice recorder is Sujith Perera and visual effects by Rusiru Pannila.[4] Thushara Vidanagamage is the hair stylist and make-up artist. Suresh Maliyedda is the music director, where Prof. Sunil Ariyaratne, Saman Athavudahetti and Somaratne Dissanayake made song lyrics. Amarasiri Peiris, Champika Edirisinghe, Suresh Maliyadda and Hiruni Nimeshika Welgama made background vocals. Sankha Abeysinghe is the choreographer.[1]
