Synopsis

[edit]

We are on a mission to uncover and preserve the remarkable stories of diplomats who played pivotal roles in rescuing individuals during the Holocaust. We are actively reaching out to survivors and family members connected to these diplomats, particularly those honored by Yad Vashem as Righteous Among the Nations. Time is of the essence as we strive to document these acts of bravery and compassion. Our urgent goal is to preserve these firsthand accounts before they fade into history. This effort will significantly enrich The Andrew J. and Joyce D. Mandell Rescuers Collection at the USC/Shoah Foundation for Holocaust Education, Media Arts, and Cultural History.
