Sade Balogun

Sade Balogun (born Folasade Bosede Balogun April 9, 1967) is a Nigerian businesswoman, real estate developer and philanthropist. She is the founder, Chairman and CEO of Redbrick Homes – the developer of Amen Estate.[1][2]

Early life and education

Sade Balogun was born to Professor Bola Olujide Balogun in April 1967. She attended Staff School, Ile-Ife for her primary education and Our Lady's Girls High School for her O'Level. She earned a BA Hons in English Language from University of Ife (since renamed Obafemi Awolowo University)[3]

Career

Balogun began her career at Esstech Limited and Esstech College, London where she served as Managing Director.[4][5] In 2003, Balogun returned to Nigeria and founded Redbrick Homes International Limited serving as its chairman and CEO. Redbrick Homes is the developer of Amen Estate situated in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos. The estate is notable for its expatriate and celebrity residents.[6][7][8][9][10][11]

Personal life

Balogun was married to Nigerian politician Babatunde Gbadamosi. According to news reports, during their divorce proceedings, Balogun claimed that Gbadamosi attempted to frame her for attempted murder and fraud.[4][6]
