Saruq District (Persian: بخش ساروق) is in Arak County, Markazi province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Saruq.[3]
History
[edit]After the 2006 National Census, Saruq Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Saruq District, which was divided into two rural districts, including the new Mashhad ol Kubeh Rural District.[3]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2011 census, the district's population was 11,328 people in 3,427 households.[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 10,491 inhabitants in 3,373 households.[2]
