Sikenica (Hungarian: Peszektergenye) is a village and municipality in the Levice District in the Nitra Region of Slovakia.
History
[edit]In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1307.
Geography
[edit]The village lies at an altitude of 150 metres and covers an area of 25.549 km². It has a population of about 640 people.
Ethnicity
[edit]The village is approximately 58% Slovak, 40% Magyar, 1% Romani and 1% Czech.
