Sota Ogawa (小川 颯太, Kogawa Souta, born 1 October 1999) is a Japanese racing driver.
Career
[edit]Ogawa made his bebut in 2017 F4 Japanese Championship with TOM'S Spirit for one round at Motegi. Ogawa made his full season with TOM'S Spirit the next season, he race alongside Kazuto Kotaka.[1] Ogawa finished up in 9th place. Ogawa made couple of appearance in 2019 with Skillspeed. And in 2020 with Skillspeed he got podiums, and pole.
In 2021, Ogawa then moves up to Formula Regional Japanese Championship with Team Sutekina for the second half of the season.[2][3] Ogawa then won in Suzuka. Ogawa moves to Bionic Jack Racing for the next season.[4] He finished runners up with three wins, just behind the eventual champion Miki Koyama. Ogawa stay again with the team for the 2023 season.[5] He eventually win the title ahead to the New Zealander Liam Sceats.[6]
Ogawa made an appearances in Super Formula Lights with Rn-sports.[7]
Ogawa will race in 2024 Macau Grand Prix with TGM Grand Prix alongside Takuma Sato's son Rintaro.[8]
