[edit]This article contains errors. 1. It describes the .40-65 Winchester cartridge as being the same as the .40-65 Marlin cartridge. This is wrong. The .40-65 Winchester cartridge case is substantially identical to that of the .40-60 Marlin, although the powder loads and bullets were typically different. 2. The article says you can fire form .45-70 cartridge cases into the .40-65 diminsions. Not true. Since the .45-70 cases are larger in diameter than the .40-65, you won't even be able to load them into a .40-65 chamber, let alone fire them.173.166.185.1 (talk) 22:19, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
Poor article.
[edit]Bare minimum article with incorrect information and some of the information in this article is physically impossible. Articles like this are why our schools tell everyone to NOT trust Wikipedia as a reliable source.
