Bit concerned
[edit]Am a bit concerned about the following sentence - "The books are notable in that Patrick Hamilton himself died of liver failure thanks to alcoholism due to his drinking and in fact spent some time infatuated with a prostitute." This implies that the books are only notable because of the biographical similarities between the contents and the life of the author. The books are rather more notable for their literary skill and acute observations. Surely the entry should emphasise this? Jmc29 — Preceding undated comment added 09:22, 1 September 2005
Links
[edit]I admittedly don't know how to fix links on here, but would like to point out that although an album entitled 20,000 Streets Under the Sky is listed on the Amazon Editor's top 100 list of 2004, it is by the band Marah. Perhaps the link should be reworked to indicate that the album was named after the novel. Can someone that knows what they're doing fix this? saucybetty — Preceding undated comment added 01:29, 13 February 2006
