13 Billion damages claim
[edit]It has been claimed in The Telegraph[1] and Press TV[2] that these floods have caused 13 billion of damage. I suspect these numbers result from the omission of a decimal point, as earlier in December The Telegraph reported on an Aon Benfield estimate of losses of 1.3 bn.[3] I don't think the floods in December have pushed the losses up by an order of magnitude, and considering flood losses for 2007 were 3 bn, I'd warn caution in using this figure for now.Lacunae (talk) 13:58, 2 January 2013 (UTC)

Ireland?
[edit]This article does not even really touch on the effects on the Island of Ireland, the article name should be changed to reflect what is in the article. 92.251.161.43 (talk) 12:59, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
