Convention results by State
[edit]Does anyone have any good sources (beyond the C-SPAN video) for the breakdown of the delegate votes by State? I'll try to look for one but currently have little time to do so. I think that is very important information to include in the article. Acidskater (talk) 13:13, 31 May 2016 (UTC)
Accuracy of first ballot numbers
[edit]I was at the convention as a delegate, and I seem to recall Austin Petersen receiving 26% of the vote on the first ballot. I also seem to recall that Governor Weld only received 45.5% of the vote on the VP first ballot. I am recollecting this from the tallies they showed on screen at the time. I think its important to have the correct numbers, so we can see how votes switched around from the 1st to the 2nd ballots.

Results in infobox
[edit]i'll be changing the results in the infobox for the convention to reflect the final, formal results of the nomination. The current ones reflect the first ballot only, which was not successful in choosing a nominee. Please respond to me here before reverting or changing to explain why you want to/did! Larry Sharpe (politician)
[edit]Is it appropriate that "Larry Sharpe (politician)" diverts here? In addition to a close second place in the ballot for VPOTUS nominee, Sharpe is now a declared candidate for Governor of New York with the endorsement of Johnson, Weld (who lives in NY) and others.
