come on, there has to be more to it than this! This page also contradicts itself. Was he wounded by cops or by farrage? BadMombo1660 (talk) 23:34, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

have added specifics about the weapons used that do not appear in the cited sources. The specifics edits were reverted back to a previous article version, additional text was added in a subsequent edit, and then were again reverted back to the specifics version with the edit summary of "Pictures of the weapons could be found in the 2nd link". One of the assault rifles is identified in a photo caption only as "an assault rifle", one of the pistols is identified in a caption only as "a pistol". There are serious Wikipedia policy concerns regarding no original research with an editor identifying the weapons from photographs in a news article and then stating in Wikipedia's voice that claimed specifics about the weapons are verifiable facts. So yes, verifiability is another Wikipedia policy that has bearing on these statements about the weapons. Wikipedia cannot rely on unpublished expertise. - Shearonink (talk) 21:17, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, this seems to be happening at various articles. In any case, the exact make and model doesn't have great importance, but the real problem is WP:HIJACK of the references.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 16:54, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
