Tennessee Three

[edit]

Can we please stop editing and making new names for Johnson's "Tennessee Three" description. I think putting Tennessee Three is the best way to describe what she is best known for without going into unnecessary detail that would derail the topic of the page and confuse readers (i.e. "who avoided expulsion by one vote"). The purpose of this page is not to explain or go into detail about this situation, there's a whole page dedicated to it that people can read about if they are interested. I responded to this on Talk:2024 United States Senate elections#Gloria Johnson + Tennessee Three. BlueShirtz (talk) 20:22, 6 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Does every single Musician that Endorsed Johnson have to be listed

[edit]

I don’t know if that is the best display. Bte3000 (talk) 22:26, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Candidates section

[edit]

In the case of Blackburn and Johnson, these candidates are supposed to be listed in the respective sections with the title of their office alongside their names (for Blackburn: incumbent U.S. Senator (2019–present), and for Johnson: state representative from the 90th district (2013–2015, 2019–present)). I personally was unaware of this precedent in articles until about a year ago, as I had tried to include a link to the 2023 Tennessee House of Representatives expulsions article on Johnson's line until another editor pointed out that the candidate's section, for candidates who hold/have held public office, is only supposed to include the name and the office they hold/offices they held. This keeps with the format of other election articles on Wikipedia, where candidates who hold elected office are listed this way. BlueShirtz (talk) 17:29, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
