[edit]

This article states: "Det. 1 82d ATRS McDonnell Douglas QF-4E-52-MC Phantom 72-0162 (AF-310) "SCAT XXVII" at The Wings Over Houston Airshow October 2007. This aircraft was flown by Col. Robin Olds during his tour at Ubon RTAFB, Thailand and has four red stars, representing the 4 North Vietnamese MiGs shot down by Olds during the Vietnam War. It was originally retired on 16 Nov 1990." Of course, Olds scored all of his kills during 1966 - 1967 while flying F-4Cs during his real tour in Vietnam. He did return to Ubon on inspection trip(s) late in the war and reportedly flew "unofficial" combat missions in F-4Es presumably, possibly even this one. But it wasn't during his "tour" as this caption suggests. Jmdeur (talk) 15:13, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
