8 Foot Sativa's genre
[edit]8 Foot Sativa doesn't really have a specific genre. Isn't a good idea to list all of their genres in the infobox (like it is now) and simply write "metal" in the article (instead of death metal)? --TheEmulatorGuy 21:10, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
Thinking about that, I agree with you, even thogh I was the one changing it back. JohnstonDJ 11:47, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Origin's Of 8 Foot Sativa's Name
[edit]I personally think It looks bad having this have It's own title when its a small little fact, and is only 1 to 2 sentences long. Consider adding it to a new trivia section, or integrating back into the main description? JohnstonDJ 11:47, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Wiki - Sidebar: Past Members
[edit]I added the past members part to the sidebar and have listed only past members since the Hate Made Me album. I did this because not much information is known about the early lineup (eg. Last Names) and I see the release of the first album as the moment that 8 foot sativa becoming a proffesional band. Your opinions on putting the old-lineup members there, or just getting rid of the past members itself? JohnstonDJ 07:28, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- Keep the names there, but until we have the last names of the early members, leave them out. It might help to ask in the Gary in the forum. --TheEmulatorGuy 09:39, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Discography
[edit]added a new section under discography showing albums 8 foot sativa's work has been featured on. Could use quite a bit of work. Not all the info is there, im trying to locate it as we speak. If you know any of the information please edit it in. Also this section needs a new title. I reckon under discography we should also have a singles section but do not know all this information. I'm gonna try and find it but if you know it could you please put it up. Thank you JohnstonDJ 08:04, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- I created that section a long time ago when the article was just starting out, I decided to remove it. I just thought there would be too many albums to list. I had trouble finding the information as well. --TheEmulatorGuy 09:39, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Complete Re-design
[edit]Well I have been very active on this article over the last few days if you haven't noticed....lol Anyways I've moved the lineups from the main part of the article to the side, to allow more of a narrative explanation of 8 foot sativa's history in the main-part. The text there I will work on over the next few weeks to contain more information and flow a lot better. Currently its mainly different entrys in wikipedia thrown together so it'll need a lot of work. JohnstonDJ 10:55, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- Awesome work, it looks great. There are a couple of design issues (table size), the movement of the [Edit] links to strange places, and the template being just a little too high up. I'll try to fix those issues. --TheEmulatorGuy 09:39, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Rendering in IE
[edit]Okay for some reason, the band photo that I reintroduced into the article renders perfectly in my Firefox, but in my IEtab absolutely annihilates the Line-Ups box, haven't checked it in IE itself (im too lazy, but I'm assuming it will be the same). I will be working on having this not happeningJohnstonDJ 03:59, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
