Question
[edit]This A.J. Croce article says that A.J. is the only child of Jim Croce, but the Jim Croce article talks about a daughter. Can anyone clear this up? Moleskiner 04:14, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
There is no daughter. This person was an imposter that vandalized pages. See Jim Croce's talk page.
Pronunciation
[edit]What is the preferred pronunciation of this musician's surname? The most accurate way to pronounce it in English is "CROW-chay", but many Americans wrongly pronounce it "CROW-chee." The problem with this is that "CROW-chee" is written in Italian as C-R-O-C-I, not C-R-O-C-E. The confusion is caused by the fact that American English is very lazy about the pronunciation of vowels. By comparison Italian vowels are always short, crisp, distinct, and consistent. There is no confusion of how to pronounce the name in Italian only in English. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.224.57.157 (talk) 01:09, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

- The definitive answer on how to pronounce "Croce" comes from any member of the Croce family. Jim, Ingrid, and A.J. also pronounce it "CROW-chee". It's their neame, so they get to pronounce it any way that they see fit, regardless of any 'standard' or 'accurate' pronouncement of others. There is no confusion in any language, because it is not a vocabulary word -- it's a proper name. 152.17.129.250 (talk) 14:55, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
Neutrality
[edit]I just added the POV-check tag. I am new to the Wikipedia community, so I am not sure which exact policy this article is violating...but some sections of it read like they were written by A.J. or a close family member, which seems wrong. Longjumpingarugula (talk) 19:37, 2 April 2019 (UTC)
Ingrid=
[edit]Ingrid, in the past few years, has taken to sullying Croce's reputation in books and interviews. She has lied about other things over the years, such as AJ's "brain tumor". His blindness was the result of beatings from a boyfriend Ingrid had (some say husband that is never mentioned). She lied about not getting royalties and she's lied about the musicians that worked for Croce. I'd take anything she says with a grain of salt.75.161.6.0 (talk) 18:08, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
