Notes

Regarding the reason the A73 was downgraded to secondary, the A702/M74 route according to Google Maps directions, takes 9 minutes longer than the A721/A73 route from Peebles to Glasgow. Even the A720/M8 route is not faster. The road signage from Peebles directs traffic towards the A72/A721/A73/M8 to get to Glasgow. Weatherman22 (talk) 00:11, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
