  • Not yet long enough - needs some 200 chars. An important work. The image will not be useable - from Commons where it has a nonsense licence. It wouldn't have survived since 2013 except it was uncategorised. Johnbod (talk) 15:21, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Nope - I make it 1489. This nom is beginning tio seem rather doom-laden. Johnbod (talk) 16:44, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
have a hunch we can find 11 more characters on historically important artwork. Hyperbolick (talk) 19:23, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Johnbod:, now? Hyperbolick (talk) 18:40, 5 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Just (quotes don't count). Johnbod (talk) 18:52, 5 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Original research

[edit]

I have reverted the addition of OR/Synthesis material here. it does not belong as it is basically giving a short art history lesson leading up to Long. The sources were generic items on Postmodernism. The claim that Long laid the path for Conceptual art is pretty weak, as there were so many before him. The sourcing also wasn't enough to support this claim. ThatMontrealIP (talk) 04:27, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not crazy about “other instances” table either. Seems like something for the main Richard Long article. Sufficient to note that there were later examples without listing. Hyperbolick (talk) 05:55, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not a fan of the table either; it could probably be summed up by saying "long went on to create more than ten works in the same vein as A Line Made by Walking. Another option would be to include a section called "derivative works", but to cover the notable derivatives in prose. That would be preferable to a list. It would be good if Snarkitect joined this discussion.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 13:55, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
did something like that. Hyperbolick (talk) 18:16, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
