14 June 2008: Edited to remove the proposal for deletion. This show is currently aired on more stations than The Takeaway and, before its recent cancellation, Fair_Game_(radio), so that alone is sufficient to keep this article. Otherwise, those two shows should also be considered for deletion. Not to mention, of course, that Barrett is apparently a widely referenced language expert, according to the news section on the show's website: [1]. I also beefed the article up with a bit more information.

20 March 2010: The show is still airing in syndication, boosted by podcast distribution. www.wayword.org should be source for updating.BurntSox (talk) 10:57, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

12 November 2011: The broadcast stations list is in need of updating, as a lot more stations are now carrying the program. http://www.waywordradio.org/listen/ Anyone want to have a go? — Preceding unsigned comment added by GrantBarrett (talkcontribs) 18:19, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

editwar re source problems

[edit]

This stub had 3 bare links listed as references, that were dead. I tagged the links with dead link and the article with the infobox "This article includes a list of references, but its sources remain unclear because it has insufficient inlineciations. Please help to improve this article by introducing more precise citations."

An anonymous editor replaced the dead links with 3 other bare links, 2 of which are waywordradio.org and grantbarrett.com, and didnt supply inline citations, but removed both tags.

Because claims in the article are still not sourced with proper inline references, I moved the 3 links to the external link section and tagged it with {unreferenced}.

Another anonymous editor, 99.74.218.197 -likely related to the subject, given edit history incl Grant Barret- removed the tag, without edit summary or explanation on the talk page. I doubt this is due to misunderstanding and inexperience, but want to clarify in good faith what's needed:

The page needs reliable inline refs of independent sources for claims for verifiability of verifiability. --Wuerzele (talk) 01:01, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
