Requested move 19 October 2024
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. The result of the move request was: moved to Aerostar (Romanian company) (closed by non-admin page mover) Reading Beans, Duke of Rivia 20:15, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
– At less than 25 clicks a day, this is probably not the primary topic. See Ford Aerostar, Piper Aerostar, and others at the disambiguation page. 162 etc. (talk) 19:52, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
- Support. See pageviews [1]. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 12:01, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- ... although I think I prefer Aerostar (Romanian company) or something similar, ie plain English rather than "S.A.". Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 12:04, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- Support Aerostar (disambiguation) → Aerostar, and Aerostar → Aerostar (Romanian company) per @Shhhnotsoloud, this is more clear than "S.A", and more concisely differentiates this company from the present-day U.S. company that supports the Piper/Ted Smith airplane. To address the original proposal, daily pageview stats show that the Ford minivan and the airplane are neck-and-neck and typically outpace the Romanian company by a factor of 6-8, so there is clearly WP:NOPRIMARY topic.
