Sahrawi
[edit]I don't think it's helpful to say "The Sahrawi Republic had expressed its disposition to contribute to the African Standby Force", just like that. It gives the impression that the Sahrawi Republic is a fully-fledged country which is able to contribute regular forces to peacekeeping operations &c. I can understand how easy it is to assume that, since it's from a Sahrawi government source, but we shouldn't mislead readers. bobrayner (talk) 16:27, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
- As long as the Sahrawi Republic is a full member of the AU (wich is the political body wich will control the African Standby Force), the sourced, reliable information that I added is helpful. "It gives the impression that the Sahrawi Republic is a fully-fledged country (recognized by +80 countries in the world, only Palestine and Kosovo had more recognitions, founding full member of the African Union -political body of the ASF-) which is able to contribute regular forces to peacekeeping operations (how do you know they are not able to do that? Are you a North African military expert, perhaps?)". More sources about the Sahrawi Republic involvement in the African Standby Force: SADR takes part at Sixth Meeting of African Chiefs of Defense Staff (Is participating at a Meeting of the African Chiefs of Defense Staff, wich discussed the activation the Rapid Deployment Capability of the African Standby Force, something misleading, not important or not helpful? I dont think so... And, how a country wich do not have intentions or capabilities of contributing to the ASF -thats what I understand you say- could be discussing issues concerning that force? Thats a clear non-sense). So please, stop trying to avoid the inclusion of sourced relevant content, unless you have real arguments...--HCPUNXKID (talk) 17:58, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
