Merge Afterburners

[edit]

Should this article be merged with After Burner? They both contain nearly the same text and "after" all, they were pretty much the same game. Cpc464 13:23, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely not. Give it time, people will add more info to it. Another reason not to merge it, is because it will mess up the categories. Buzda 23:04, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is no need to merge Afterburner into Afterburner II or vice versa. Dread Lord CyberSkull ✎☠ 01:15, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Do not merge them. I am removing the merge tags from both articles. Pepsidrinka 04:00, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, let's see what happens with the content. It's very confusing at the moment - screenshots from After Burner ports are in the After Burner II article; text is almost repeated verbatim between the two articles etc. Cpc464 08:41, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Correction: arcade system

[edit]

I've changed the arcade system in the info box. While it is true that there was an After Burner II for the Megatech board [1], it was a port of a port (remember, the Megatech was an "arcadified" Mega Drive). The original game ran on the X Board hardware [2]. - Stormwatch 15:44, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure I'm happy with this. As far as I can tell, the consensus is that screenshot galleries are fair use, as long as the images are relevant to the article. --StuartBrady (Talk) 13:49, 4 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
