Page move?

[edit]

Most modern accounts including Wikipedia use Ahmednagar spelling to denote the city in Maharashtra. I would like to move this page to Ahmednagar fort as per the popular spelling. Please let me know if anyone has valid reasons to object to this. --Belasd (talk) 22:09, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well done

[edit]

This is my first visit to this page is quite some time and I would like to congratulate the editors who have improved this article out of all recognition since I created the article, back in March, as the Fort of Ahmednuggur. -- PBS (talk) 09:20, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Need to add the new header: Nearby places of interest.

[edit]

Ahmednagar Fort is located in an area of which multiple places of military importance are accessible. If this header is added, it might help readers to plan the visit accordingly. E.g. Cavalry Tank Museum, MIRC Green, KK Range. SVChikate (talk) 11:17, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Removalal of inline sources

[edit]

@user:Sitush you made the following edit Revision as of 18:37, 3 June 2019 "none of these are acceptable sources"

This left text which was cited without citations. Please explain why "Duke of Wellington" writing in his Despatches and and "Gazetteer of the Bombay Presidency", are not reliable sources? If you were going to remove the citations why did you not replace them with what you think are suitable ones? -- PBS (talk) 12:48, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
