Air Link International Aviation College
[edit]Air Link International Aviation College (ALIAC) is an institution specializing in aviation education. Established in 1982 as the "Amurao Flying School" by Captain Geronimo Amurao, it later evolved into the "Air Link International Aviation School" by 1984 and officially became the "Air Link International Aviation College" in April 2003. In 2017, Atty. Gomeriano V. Amurao took on the role of Managing Chairman and President.
ALIAC operates from two campuses. The primary campus is located within the General Aviation Area of the Domestic Airport in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines, offering practical training opportunities. Adjacent to this campus, a hangar facility supports a comprehensive learning environment for aviation students. ALIAC's secondary campus, located on the island of Lubang in Occidental Mindoro, focuses on intensive training programs for aspiring pilots and ground-based students.
The college offers various aviation-related courses, including a Bachelor of Science in Aviation, Private Pilot Courses, and Commercial Pilot Courses. Students benefit from hands-on training in specialized laboratories for aircraft frames and power plants, closely supervised by licensed personnel. ALIAC maintains a fleet of 28 live aircraft, including a 64-passenger YS-11 plane, along with single and twin-engine computerized flight simulation training equipment equipped with up-to-date avionics. Experienced faculty and staff with years of industry service contribute to the institution's educational quality.
ALIAC's academic programs have received recognition and accreditation from reputable bodies such as the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has designated ALIAC as an Approved Training Organization for both Flight Training and Aircraft Maintenance.
