Citizenship Week

[edit]

I've removed a one-sentence statement saying that Pierson conducted an on-air "becoming a citizen" ceremony that was later discovered to have been bogus. It was uncited, and she's evidently said she didn't know that some of the "new citizens" were actually station employees, etc., etc. If anyone wants to put that back in, he'll need to very carefully cite it. I'd suggest looking at the very well-written, well-documented section of the article on Sun News Network, where there's an entire section devoted to the flap.  – OhioStandard (talk) 00:41, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've again removed more of the same: Uncited allegations and personal opinion, again because it violates our policy on the biographies of living persons. Do not restore this material without proper citations to support the content fully. --OhioStandard (talk) 22:20, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
