[edit]- This article is based on a translation of the German Wikipedia article about this specimen. But notice that the paragraphs "life and habitat", "location" and "endangerment" have been changed since August (the date of translation). So, it's worth while visiting the german article again. Especially the paragraph "endangerment" here is a little confusing and strange to me. It refers to very subjective observations of one single person and doesn't deal with factors of endangerment in general! -- Fice, Nov. 25, 2005
Isn't the taxonomy a little out of date? As far as I know, Mesotriton alpestris is the commonly accepted name. --Cynops3 02:56, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
