Financial issues and SEC Probe
[edit]I'm not a qualified Wikipedia editor, but I was surprised that the recent news (2017) about AmTrust's financial errors/restatements and SEC Probe are not mentioned here.
In March 2017, Amtrust stated that it would restate its financial statements for the last three years, delaying the filing of its annual report. https://www.wsj.com/articles/amtrust-shares-drop-after-admission-of-errors-1489766314
"AmTrust’s spectacular growth in especially the last five years has caused some stock analysts and the Wall Street Journal’s sister publication Barron’s to publish articles questioning AmTrust’s reserving and financial accounting. AmTrust has vigorously defended its reserving and accounting practices. http://agencychecklists.com/2017/03/21/amtrust-restating-2014-2015-and-part-of-2016-financials-knocks-stock-down-almost-40-17504/ https://globenewswire.com/news-release/2017/04/04/954002/0/en/AmTrust-Financial-Services-Inc-Completes-Annual-Financial-Restatements-With-Filing-of-Form-10-K.html http://ir.amtrustfinancial.com/index.cfm

I hope a qualified editor could add this to the AmTrust Financial Services wikipedia page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:6000:8B55:FF00:4083:4D51:7CD3:7F96 (talk) 23:56, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
