Tone of article sounds like a copy paste of the artist's PR release

Right now the tone of the article is not encyclopedic - it is highly favourable to the artist, perhaps excessively so.

"long-awaited follow-up to 2006's critically-acclaimed Charm. The record was released to universal acclaim"

The sentence above illustrates what I find problematic with the writing style. I don't want to do an ugly hatchet job and take out half the article but I hope someone with finesse can come and fix up the writing to sound more like:

"there was a long gap between the release of this album and the previous album, Charm. The record received a favourable critical reception from the following publications: blah blah."

And basically removing any claims that this album is so awesome that it will cure cancer etc.

Otherwise the article may appear to be a puff piece.
