Dubious and/or random stuff removed
[edit]In 1963, Electronic Design magazine "credited Andy Kay and William Shockley, co-inventor of the transistor, with starting the digital revolution".
1963? Needs a source.
Andy Kay brought San Diego into the personal computer world by leading the industry with Kaypro II in 1982.
WTF does San Diego have to do with anything? Tone and ARGGGG!
Inspiration for psychologist Abraham Maslow's theory of "enlightened management"
Dubious at best, needs a source. Lycurgus (talk) 11:15, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
Andrew F. Kay (born Mar 22, 1919) is President and CEO of Kay Computers
[edit]Kay Computers closed nearly a decade ago. Shouldn't this be noted in the article? It says he is currently president and CEO of the company.173.58.53.212 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 18:22, 14 February 2011 (UTC).
- No, no, no. Kay Computers and Kaypro were two entirely different companies. Kay Computers existed (judging by archive.org archived pages) from around 1999 to around 2009.
- Given that Kay Computers was never a particularly large company, the Kay Computers page (which I just created) is simply a redirect to the Andrew Kay article. To the extent that there is information out there about Kay Computers, it should be used to expand this article. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 04:05, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
