Talk page
[edit]We need a talk page for Anglican Prayer Beads. The Wikipedia article keeps being changed and often improved. However, the photograph is not right. If we are talking about Anglican Rosaries - then we should have a picture of an Anglican Rosary. They have a St. Francis/San Damiano Crucifix and this is an important aspect of the rosary.
I also think that the link to http://open-hands.com/Publications/publications.html was appropriate. The authors are amongst the early developers of the Anglican Rosary. Their book, "Holding your Prayers in your Hands" is the best I know of regarding Anglican Rosaries.
I think the Wikipedia article needs to define what the beads are rather than a comparison to the Catholic Rosary. For those who have never used either - the Anglican Prayer Beads article would be confusing. Please excuse me if I am not quite following all of the rules. I haven't figured out the talk page format.

[edit]- Actually, you have figured out the talk page - that's just what this is for!
- I agree with your comment that the article should mostly deal with the Anglican rosary rather than make a comparison. Any comparison should be quite minimal. But I want to ask you about the photograph that's been deleted. It was my photograph of my rosary. You might be quite right, but I do want to ask - the rosary was made by people at an Anglican cathedral, from materials available at the cathedral. It's quite common for Anglicans to have a variety of crosses, including the San Damiano Crucifix. But, are you sure the cross in the photograph was a San Damiano? I just thought it was a regular ol' cross. Here's the photograph:
- Could you let me know? Thank you.
