Just wondering if anyone would be willing to please highlight the "downright breathless" parts of this article, following this edit, so that I can work on addressing them? Thanks Themeparkgc  Talk  04:50, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A few:
  • "rumors began circling" —this isn't really encyclopedic, reading more like a fan magazine
  • "three degrees of freedom including pitching, yawing and rolling" —"including"? no, that's all three of them; shouldn't suggest there are more
  • calling rides and their engineering "concepts" is rather over-stating the case
  • "This rise would be higher than if a single attraction was unveiled" —speculation, presented as fact
  • The second paragraph of the "Themed area" section reads like a tourist brochure or press release from the operator, encouraging purchases
Hope this helps! --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 13:00, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for those, I believe I have addressed all of them. Anything else that should be addressed prior to the removal of the tag? Themeparkgc  Talk  00:03, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review

I'll take on this review. First off: is the preshow photograph of animatronics, or a projection (ie film)? If it's of film, it should be uploaded as fair use, as all it is is a film still with "rocks" overlapping. -- Zanimum (talk) 23:56, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The "Reception" section: what's there is good, but was there any critical reviews? There's an article on Theme Park Insider about the light levels being dirastically different than in concept art. This About.com writer was "conflicted". Indeed, the lead says it was "generally well received", which suggests some negative or on the fence views, contrary to what you cite in the section. -- Zanimum (talk) 15:07, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Pass to "History" and "Ride experience and exhibit" (that snow fact is astounding). -- Zanimum (talk) 17:49, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Theme area" and "Production", random check of references seem to check out. -- Zanimum (talk) 18:17, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Have you considered linking to the official SeaWorld playlist for the attraction? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxDj-YTdnJI&list=SP180A79C0386CFC02 -- Zanimum (talk) 18:17, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

@Zanimum: I think I have addressed all these comments. Themeparkgc  Talk  07:33, 6 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. I'll take another read over, and promote. -- Zanimum (talk) 18:09, 6 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ack, sorry to leave you hanging. I don't see any outstanding issues or areas for improvement, so promoting. -- Zanimum (talk) 17:46, 11 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Themeparkgc  Talk  22:33, 11 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
