Proposed merge into Employment Discrimination

[edit]

I oppose this suggestion. Anti-discrimination law is broader than just laws against employment discrimination - it includes laws against discrimination in public accomodations, education, etc. This article needs to be expanded greatly, not merged. Unless there's another article covering this broad topic... I haven't found one though. --Alynna (talk) 16:34, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you are going to merge this page merge it with the list of anti discrimination policies by coountry. It is in the see also section of this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.232.78.52 (talk) 08:01, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Criticism Section

[edit]

A basic argument I've seen used by Libertarians against these laws is that they impede upon other people's rights. I'm going to add a Criticism Section with some sources then. Mortician103 (talk) 05:42, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This page needs to add source to "some consider affirmative action to be government-sanctioned reverse discrimination." and what is this page doing as a stub? There are 2 others it could fit in The Unbeholden (talk) 01:59, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Examples Section

[edit]

This section seems redundant as there is already a link to a much longer list of anti-discrimination laws in the See Also section. SocyProf (talk) 15:43, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
