Hello friends.

I've just pasted in a full revision of this article that I wrote for a university class in 2021. I'm normally a minor/casual editor, so there are a couple issues here that are well beyond my skill level: the images are kind of randomly plonked in the middle of the article, and I was getting a "cite journal" error when previewing my changes. I don't know if the latter is fixed or just hidden now.

So, to any passing wiki mavens, please feel free to fix my mess — and I promise I'll stick to minor edits in future!
