Elimination of "Excessive Information" and "Subjective Wording" tags

[edit]

I reached out to the user Kenirwin to ask for advice on how I could eliminate two of the tags at the top of the article, the one indicating that the article had excessive information and the one indicating that my wording was "subjective." For the latter, the user suggested that I should eliminate all quotes by the subject, on the grounds that they don't impart useful information, and I have done that. For the other tag, the one about excessive information, the user suggested that I create new articles for some of the subject's plays and place detailed information in those individual articles, so I could eliminate some of the information in the sections relating to those plays in the subject's main article, and thus tighten up that article. Therefore, I have created a new article on the play which had the most information, The Nibroc Trilogy, so as to place all the more detailed information from the main article into the new article and thus cut that excess information from the main article. I also moved some information from the section in the main article on Hutton's play "As It Is in Heaven" to the pre-existing separate article on the play.

As a result, the main article is now about one-third shorter than it was, with subjective wording and excessive information eliminated. Therefore, I shall remove those two tags. Dylanexpert (talk) 20:19, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
