Names of Rheeses?
[edit]The article mentions Phyllis Rheese and Dyllis Rheeses. Are these different people or are there spelling mistakes? Nurg (talk) 11:27, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you - I have corrected... BTW - How can I fix apparent issues with my own images being used for this article? Can you help me? I'm lost. Thanks b'art homme 22:16, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
Image issues
[edit]Hi thee contributing editors - novice editor here - This is an important piece of NZ art history - can you please help me figure out why my own images can't or apparently can't be used - or how to fix the attribution within wikimedia? Thank you b'art homme 22:19, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
- Kia ora B'art homme, thanks for your email. It's best to communicate about Wiki issues "in the open". You said that you have "put a few pictures on wikimedia having been given permission to use them there by their owners". By itself, that's absolutely not good enough. Each photo that is not your own needs to be released by the copyright holder. The easiest way to do this is to ask the copyright holder to complete an online form called Interactive Release Generator. For that, they need the URL of the photo as it now appears on Wikimedia Commons.
- "I have also put up photos of my own which I appear to also be in trouble with" – can you please point me to one of your own photos so that I can see what the problem is? You generally shouldn't have trouble with your own photos, but copyright is hugely complex, hence I need to see what the issue is. Schwede66 07:25, 30 August 2023 (UTC)

Gary McCormick
[edit]Are Gary McCormack, Gary McCormac, Gary McCormic and Gary McCormick all the same person? Nurg (talk) 00:58, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
- Hello Nurg, Thanks again... I think I'm getting closer but I can't figure out if these warnings are now fixed? or - if not - how one earth can I fix them please? https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:B%27art_homme#c-Asilvering-20230827234400-File_source_is_not_properly_indicated%3A_File%3AFloor_sanding_and_varnishing.jpg Thanks b'art homme 23:35, 31 August 2023 (UTC)

Heading
[edit]I wonder can I revert or ask for the heading to be reverted back to "The Artists' co-op? I am aware that the definite article is not de rigor but the co-op has always been known as "The... "
