I found a site earlier that listed "asin/osin" or "asin/osun" as the Basque word for "nettle". More often in google search I find the form "asun". There are other Basque variants [1]:

there is another Asín in Broto, also in Aragon, whence according to redaragon.com the surname derives. Apart from that, I cannot find the toponym anywhere else. --dab (𒁳) 16:27, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
