  • The article is long enough and new enough. I assume good faith on the references that I can't read. The only problem is that while the article does state that it was used in Burmese high schools between the 1930s and the 1950s, it does not state that it was the "main" Burmese history textbook that was used in Burmese high schools.   • @SL93:, thanks for the review. I see your point. The 7th edition of the book (Ba Than 1951) itself says prewar English vernacular schools in Burma used English language Burmese history books. Anyway, I've modified the hook, which is supported by (Myo Oo 2012: 2), which is available online. (I've also added a couple of more references in the article.) Thanks.
