Removed 'Notable Family Members' section
[edit]Dear friends, I have removed the 'Notable Family Members' section from this article as none of the people listed seemed very notable by Wiki standards and also, because Wiki is not a directory nor a place for self or familial prmotion/self-aggrandizement. Nawab Bahadur Yar Jung's own importance and contributions to the Pakistan Movement should be basically focused on here, in my opinion. Thank you. 14:04, 29 November 2011 (UTC)Khani100

in attempting to remediate multiple issues with sources and citations
[edit]I have identified what I would expect to constitutes plagiarism or a copyright violation. At several paragraphs in this article are directly copied from the blog page that is cited as reference 1. The blog page is dated December 6, 2006 and the text was added to this article on May 13, 2011. Again, although the source is referenced, the material is directly reproduced from the cited source (in full paragraphs - so inline citation would not make sense to do). Datdyat (talk) 04:50, 10 April 2013 (UTC) I had intended to continue with improving the references in this article, but I am discontinuing this for the moment - in case the article is nominated for deletion due to the many sections that were copied, I do not want to invest more time in to it.Datdyat (talk) 05:16, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
Copyright issue
[edit]This article was correctly flagged for duplication of content from this 2006 posting, but investigation reveals it is far too extensive to simply excise. Content was entered here in May 2011, and some of the subsequent content brought into the article by the same contributor may also duplicate sources, as he was not yet familiar with Wikipedia's copyright policies. (See also Wikipedia:Contributor copyright investigations/20110828) It should be possible to revert the article to this version, but otherwise the content is likely going to need to be completely rewritten. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:00, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
Autobiography?
[edit]If the My Life written or republished in 1931 by "Nawab Server-ul-Mulk Bahadur" was written or translated by Bahadur Yar Jung like Google Books thinks, it should be mentioned and linked somewhere from the article. [Seems like the subject was the Server Jung Bahadur who has a German Wiki article but no English one. Google might be wrong or Bahadur Yar Jung might've been involved as an editor or translator in any case.] — LlywelynII 22:06, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
