If the editors of Wikipedia delete the article I would view that as much an act of vandalism as deletion by a troll. In either case deletion represents a throwing away of knowledge laboriously gathered by a volunteer. This does not strike me as an intelligent approach to encouraging people to participate. As for the issue of notability, that is entirely in the eyes of the beholder. When I check the "Recent changes" listings I often see articles listed on what strike me as the most inane of topics. I extend tolerance to those articles, recognizing that some people really care about computer games, movie stars and the like.
