NIFD, Director Priyanka Khosla after creating a niche in Fashion Industry diversifies NIFD Group in to Aviation & Hospitality Industry. An independent venture taken up by Priyanka Khosla, managing director of Flying Cats (Cosmo Airhostess Training School), the venture promises to be a perfect blend of grooming for aviation, travel and tourism, and Hospitality Industry. Priyanka Khosla, MD, Flying Cats has tie-ups with the best in the industry & the project will kick off in April 2006, the celebrity panel comprises of Sabira Merchant who has trained Miss India’s on communication, etiquettes & public speaking, Malika Arora Khan, Aditi Govitrikar, Zulfi Sayed, Cory Walia make-up artist, Fashion Designer Ashley Rebello & Astrologer P Khurana. On Technical panel Flying Cats have a tie-up with Ivan Silvera former chief trainer of Air India Hostesses & a number of former crew members of Air India, Cathay Pacific & other airlines along with experts known from Hospitality Industry. Elaborating on the 1 year course with two hours classes every day, spread over 5 days a week and a batch of 30 students, promises virtual classrooms created V-sat ( Via satellite)class studio. There will be a mock air- craft at every centre for practical training and 100percent assistance for job placements. Flying Cats is also in process with a leading International Airlines for in-flight training and a trip abroad for all students. To be launched in two phases, Flying Cats, will be spread over 20 cities in the first phase with Chandigarh as the corporate base and will expand to another 15 in the second phase.
