Usage of Bold Lettering

[edit]

All of the scientific names in the article are in bold. I think this impedes reading and makes the text much more crowded. Would it be ok if I revert every use to non-bold except for the first one? TimTheDragonRider (talk) 15:37, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, it should only be bolded at the first mention in the intro, and perhaps in a cladogram. FunkMonk (talk) 15:47, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed! I'll be working a bit more on this article, seen as the writing looks quite messy to me in places. The article even called species "subtaxa". TimTheDragonRider (talk) 16:03, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Most of the article seems to have been written by an editor who has never edited before or since, probably the explanation... FunkMonk (talk) 16:04, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Expect to see some more edits in the coming days, if anything catches your attention as wrong, be sure to let me know!TimTheDragonRider (talk) 16:07, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps it could also use a new quality assessment. Doesnt seem like a stub to me...TimTheDragonRider (talk) 16:09, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I must admit though, while I created the article, I know very little about turtles... FunkMonk (talk) 16:15, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
But Faendalimas is an expert on fossil turtles, so might have some comments by that time. FunkMonk (talk) 16:19, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
thanks for the ping I will look through the article next few days and make some suggestions and refs. Cheers Scott Thomson (Faendalimas) talk 23:12, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Range Map

[edit]

I don't know when it appeared, but the top of the talk page now states that it needs a range map. I don't believe this is usually what happens with fossil species, right? TimTheDragonRider (talk) 09:29, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
