I would like to point that Tony Le Tissier's book "The battle of Berlin 1945" provides a good amount of information for the big German formations (Division size), but not for the detail.
For example Le Tissier identifies the regiments of 9th Parachute Division ans indicates that every regiment had 3 battalions. But we know that II./26 Parachute regiment and II./25 Parachute regiment from the same division were sent to Breslau.
We have also to know that the bulk of German divisions formed from February to March 1945 were destroyed in the east of Germany and were no more than combat groups with added Alarm, Volkssturm or Ausbildung battalions.
I hope this help.

Volkstrum, Hitler Youth, and other reserves
[edit]This article is lacking the organization of the various Volkstrum, Hitler Youth, auxiliary and other rear echelon units that made up a large portion of the defense of the city itself in its final days.XavierGreen (talk) 23:05, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

Reformatted and rearranged
[edit]The formatting on this page was a disaster area. I redid it so someone with some detailed knowledge of the smaller units involved might want to give it another look. Hungrydog55 (talk) 03:19, 1 March 2022 (UTC)
