Proposed Merger
[edit]The article Balkans Campaign German order of battle appears to cover much of the same material as this article. Should they be merged?Mccapra (talk) 12:19, 1 December 2017 (UTC)
- No. The Balkans Campaign included two separate but coordinated invasions, those of Yugoslavia and Greece, which commenced on the same day and shared a small proportion of forces (those that invaded southern Serbia and Macedonia, which then attacked into Greece). - We have articles on the OOBs for both the Yugoslav invasion and the Greek invasion. What purpose does an overarching article serve? Srnec (talk) 03:31, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
- It was one unified push with some elements common to both, a Balkans Campaign orbat provides the whole picture. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 03:33, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
