In Indian languages of this zone the pronunciation of "BHARHUT" and "VERHUDT" are exactly the same .It may be that in course of time the word got transformed in transliteration.Actually in Devnagri both words will have same script. And though funny it may seem, is it actually Buddha , becoming the supreme God as Bharhutbrahma or Verhudtbrahma.117.194.209.33 (talk) 15:15, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
