Bosnian or Bosniak

[edit]

Can someone explain the difference Bosnian and Bosniak? If there is no difference, then I recommend picking one and using it throughout the article. This will help prevent confusion such as my own. If there is a difference, then this needs explaining early in the article to again, prevent confusion. Quite frankly if there is no difference, I personally prefer Bosnian since I have friends who refer to themselves as such. I've never heard Bosniak ever used by them and even my spellcheck is saying it is an incorrect spelling, but it accepts Bosnian. To me, Bosniak sounds inconsiderate or impolite but I may be missing something. Remember that this article is in English, not Bosnian. MagnoliaSouth (talk) 09:24, 20 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
