Billy's real name is Billy Brethethon. I do not know his age though.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.156.90.56 (talk) 20:46, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can't Fool Me

[edit]

Who is this guy really? It appears and he try's to pass him self off as a "good old boy", but when he talks the voice and quality of his education does not match the desired image he is trying to pass on. Who is this guy really? And which Ivy League college did he graduate from? And whatpost graduate degree does he have? --Oracleofottawa (talk) 00:31, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

To make this even more clear, think of Dog The Bounty Hunter, that is "redneck deluxe" and authentic.--Oracleofottawa (talk) 00:36, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Are you expecting authenticity? This is A&E- the best you can expect is entertaining trash. Saxophobia (talk) 01:43, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It is an extremely foolish assumption on your part, to assume that one can't be educated and still be a "good ole boy".
Try experiencing the wide world that exists outside the box you've decided to live in and you would see that there are a great many who live below the Mason Di Micheal Is so hot xon Line who are as smart or smarter than many of the denizens who populate the North side of the belt.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.221.37.146 (talk) 18:13, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Seems like when Americans finally get skeptical & cease believing in every tooth fairy & medieval eunuch that prances & sashays across their TV screens under the guise of "host," they get skeptical about the wrong stuff. This is the only TV show I try to watch semi-regularly. Billy's entertaining & informative: two qualities 99 & 44/100% of TV tapioca brains don't have. Altho I am baffled about why they give "Mary Billy's Wife" any billing. 138.162.128.55 (talk) 12:28, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Episode List

[edit]

At a minimum, the episode list should use the {{episode list}} template. In fact, there are enough episodes that a separate 'List of Billy the Exterminator episodes' article could be created. Andyross (talk) 14:01, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Billy Bretherton - son

[edit]

but he isnt listed as a vexcon staff member —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.64.0.211 (talk) 07:41, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Billy Bretherton does have a son but his name is not Dan ...also the child who is 9 has never been on the show and shouldn't be listed as a Vexcon staff memeber etc... (Finite147 (talk) 22:21, 27 December 2010 (UTC)).[reply]

Considering that I've never seen Billy's son on the series, I've given it a "fact" tag for now. -- azumanga (talk) 21:41, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Billy's son isn't named Dan - His son is named Bryce.(Finite147 (talk) 22:49, 30 December 2010 (UTC))[reply]
What's your source? If you can find a tangible source, okay. Otherwise, no dice. -- azumanga (talk) 04:39, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've spoken to both Billy and Donnie on the A&E website. I even know his birthday is September 18, 1968 and his actual name is William Patrick Bretherton; He's known as Bill to his friends and family around Shreveport and so on and his Dad is known as Big Bill; He's referred as Billy on A&E show as not to confuse him with his Dad Big Bill. A&E thought Billy would be easier for the fans. Also Ricky's name is Ricky Lee Bretherton born August 3 1971. I'm also friends with Ricky on Facebook. That's how he listed his birthday. I also think it's unfair only certain people get to edit wikipedia and not others. Do they pay you to be the wikipedia police?? (Finite147 (talk) 13:52, 3 January 2011 (UTC)). (Finite147 (talk) 13:55, 3 January 2011 (UTC)).[reply]
I prefer something that can actually be verifiable -- just saying that you spoke to them through their website isn't enough. See Wikipedia:Verifiability. -- azumanga (talk) 21:05, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Inappropriate Redirect:

Why is this the redirect for "Hogs Gone Wild?" There is an entire series on Discovery called "Hogs Gone Wild." I think an article about that would be helpful, or at least some kind of disambiguation page. Just being dumped into the "Billy the Exterminator" page because one episode was called "Hogs Gone Wild" is very unhelpful. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.0.171.13 (talk) 21:08, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
