Hey DarklyShadows, I'll review this. LOVI33 17:06, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox and lead

[edit]
  • Cover art needs alt text
  • Are you sure the 7" cover art should be here? It is usually placed for the A-side, which I see has been done with "You Should See Me in a Crown". If you choose to keep it, it needs alt text.
  • You may want to add a music, lyric or audio video to the infobox under misc using Template:YouTube.

LOVI33 The link is not working. DarklyShadows (talk) 20:18, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thats fine, it was just a suggestion
  • "The song was later released on a 7-inch vinyl along with her single "You Should See Me in a Crown"." → "The song was released on a 7-inch vinyl as a B-Side to her single "You Should See Me in a Crown"."
  • "It was included" → "It was also included"
  • "Eilish's lyrics on the song address" → "The lyrics of "Bitches Broken Hearts" address"
  • "several topics, including the aftermath of a breakup" → "the aftermath of a breakup", no other topics are sourced

 Done

Background and release

[edit]

 Done

Composition and lyrical interpretation

[edit]
  • "described the track" → "described "Bitches Broken Hearts""
  • "According to sheet music website Musicnotes.com → "According to sheet music published at Musicnotes.com"
  • "is moderately fast at" → "has a moderately fast tempo of"
  • "vocals range between" → "vocals span one octave from"
  • Target G3 and G4 to G (musical note) respectively

 Done

Reception

[edit]
  • "received mainly positive reviews from" → "was met with generally favorable reviews from"
  • "siblings’" → "siblings'", SMOS:A&Q
  • "national charts" → "official charts"
  • "The track has notably been" → "The track has been"

 Done

Live performances

[edit]
  • Looks good!

Credits and personnel

[edit]
  • Change title to 'Personnel', 'Credits and personnel' is used when there are recording locations or publishing involved
  • "Credits adapted from the 7-inch vinyl liner notes." → "Credits adapted from liner notes of You Should See Me in a Crown / Bitches Broken Hearts." with target
  • "co-producer" → "producer" for both, I am almost certain it is credited as this because co-producers are different from producers. If it is credited like this, remove the producers from the infobox.

 Done

Certifications

[edit]

 Done

Release history

[edit]
  • Again, MOS:TABLECAPTION, maybe: Release dates and formats for "Bitches Broken Hearts"
  • "Country" → "Region"
  • "Format" → "Format(s)"
  • "Label" → "Label(s)"

 Done

References

[edit]
  • Make sure all these are archived
  • Copyvio score looks good at 31.5%
  • Ref 6: cite Depop as a publisher instead.
  • Ref 11: MOS:QWQ issues
  • Ref 16: change to cite web and wikilink YouTube to itself

Final comments and verdict

LOVI33 That should be all. Let me know if there is anything else that needs to be done! DarklyShadows (talk) 20:18, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Improved to Good Article status by The Ultimate Boss (talk). Self-nominated at 19:57, 15 July 2020 (UTC).[reply]

  • Hi The Ultimate Boss, full review will be done later. The source you provided redirects to another website, and the archive link did not indicate it is the first Billie Eilish song produced by someone other than Finneas, please check did you give the correct source. Corachow (talk) 14:54, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: No - See comment
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: Yes
QPQ: None required.

Overall: The Ultimate Boss QPQ not required as nominator has less than 5 DYK nominations. Earwig came back 33.8%, but those are mostly quotes and song titles, problem with the source here still not fixed. Corachow (talk) 12:22, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • The Ultimate Boss, the source said the song "was co-produced with FINNEAS and Emmit Fenn", but did not mention it is the first song produced by someone who's not Finneas. I took the liberty of linking Billie Eilish's and Finneas's articles, but I suggest you to indicate that Finneas is Eilish's brother on the hook. Corachow (talk) 23:46, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Corachow, I couldn't find a source anywhere that tells Fenn was the first and only co-producer on a Billie Eilish song. I changed the sentence. The Ultimate Boss (talk) 00:20, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Corachow Forget it then. I’ve tried everything but nothing seems to work out for you. Do what you want with the dyk. Idc. The Ultimate Boss (talk) 15:19, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm proposing ALT2: ... that in Billie Eilish's song "Bitches Broken Hearts", she pretends that she no longer needs or cares about her former lover? [3][4] A new reviewer is needed. Corachow (talk) 01:03, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • ALT3 ... that Ryan Booth filmed the music video for the Billie Eilish song "Bitches Broken Hearts" and shot the basketball documentary about Penny Hardaway called, The Harder Way? "Ryan Booth, who got a cold call in September asking them to shoot the series ... a season like no college basketball season that has ever been." [5] "The Ryan Booth-directed clip follows the singer's recent single "You Should See Me in a Crown," which was released earlier this month." [6]

ALT2 Hook is interesting, short enough and sourced with Ref 10 "the sultry track delves into the post-breakup stage of a relationship, during which the other person pretends to no longer care about their former partner. " [7]
ALT3 Hook is interesting, short enough and sourced with Refs 17 and 18 "Ryan Booth, who got a cold call in September asking them to shoot the series ... a season like no college basketball season that has ever been." [8] "The Ryan Booth-directed clip follows the singer's recent single "You Should See Me in a Crown," which was released earlier this month." [9]
